Healthy treats have several benefits for both pets and pet owners. Treats can lend variety to an otherwise monotonous diet, provide good exercise for teeth and jaws, and add behavioral enrichment for animals that spend their lives in a small, limited environment. Most importantly, treats form a connection between pets and pet owners, assisting in bonding and training.

FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS: Offer approximately ½ tbsp (½ ice cube) of Gummivore-Fare as a treat no more than 3 days per week, along with a nutritional diet like Glider Complete (2 tbsp). Offer in an open dish, or it can be placed into hollow openings in branches to allow animals to forage. Gummivore-Fare is a supplemental food, and should not be offered as the sole food source. Feed along with a balanced diet plan. We recommend putting out moist foods at night when your sugar gliders wake up, so that it does not sit out for long and dry up. Do not leave moist food out for more than 12 hours, change out pellet food every 24 hours. Additional vitamins are not neccessary if your glider's diet is made up of at least 75% Glider Complete. Always provide fresh drinking water to your sugar glider. Vary the diet by offering Fruits, Vegetables, Insects, Gliderade, Insect-Eater Diet, and more.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Once opened, store jar foods airtight in your refrigerator. They will store refrigerated for approximately 7-10 days. Freeze jar if it will not be finished in 7-10 days. We recommend scooping ½ tbsp servings into an ice tray or onto wax paper before freezing, for easy serving. Will last for up to 6 months in a freezer after opening. Unopened jars can be stored up to 1 year.
FEEDING RECOMMENDATION: This product is a treat and should be fed sparingly, it is not a substitute for a regular, balanced diet. Offer treats 2-3 times per week or as a small portion (less than 10%) of the main diet. Treats may lead to health issues like obesity when overfed. If your pet is not consuming its regular balanced diet, withhold serving treats until stable eating habits resume.
